Key Partnerships
MoneySense (previously known as Face 2 Face with Finance) is the UK’s largest and longest running programme to teach children about money. Since the programme was launched in January 2004 it has delivered lessons in money management to 1.5 million students in England, Scotland and Wales.
Money Advice Trust offers free, impartial and confidential money advice through organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureau. We continue to be the largest individual contributor and in 2006 we renewed our funding for a further three years increasing our total contribution to £5.83 million.
Lone Parent Helpline is the first UK freephone helpline for lone parents. We committed £1 million to the line over four years from 2004.
Supergrounds Awards for primary schools is a £6 million, six-year community programme funded by the RBS group. Helping 900 primary schools worldwide, Supergrounds Awards transform existing school grounds into attractive and stimulating places where children can learn and play in safety.
The Prince’s Trust has a long-term partnership with the Group. In 2004, we committed £5 million for the next five years; and last year, over 780 Group employees were involved with the Trust.
Fairbridge helps 13-25 year-olds in disadvantaged areas return to mainstream society. Overall, 779 RBS group employees have been involved in fundraising, local events and team challenges to help Fairbridge to continue its work with young people across disadvantaged areas of the UK.
BTCV is the UK’s leading practical conservation charity and our partnership means employees have the opportunity to make a difference to the environment and their local communities.
Barnardo's is one of the UK's leading children's charities and runs over 400 community based projects to support disadvantaged and vulnerable children. In April 2007 the Group formed a partnership which provides opportunities for employees, individuals or teams to work directly with children and young people, and take part in exciting challenges and fundraising activities.
