Learning and developing is what makes a business of this size a success. There is a fundamental commitment to the education and progress of our people that is the responsibility of everyone within the business. Most of our graduates comment on how open people are and how willing they are to provide advice and support on a day-to-day basis. Our willingness to develop people is supported by the resources and infrastructure that make it as easy as possible to find the right information, develop the relevant skills and drive your career forward. From day one, you’ll be given the opportunity and support to be involved in work that’s real, live and immediate. Whether that’s running a project on business improvement, putting together a coaching pack, assisting a director or even investigating acquisition targets.
There are many tools and resources. We provide an induction for everyone. All graduates also undergo a number of core courses to build up certain personal skills, but there might also be others that are essential for your specific areas. We provide financial support for professional qualifications, wherever they are needed, and a number of people have buddies and mentors assigned to them. We will also give you the chance to start making contacts and networking. Of course, if this is not enough, there is also the chance to develop internationally or take on placements and secondments. Finally, there is the opportunity to develop skills outside of the office through community projects and volunteering. In short, there is a vast range of ways to help you fulfil your potential within the Group.
