Networking
Networking may conjure up visions of old school ties and cliques. For us, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Here networking means talking to people, getting to know different parts of the business, understanding who does what and how, putting faces to names and (strangely enough) making friends. Probably the greater challenge is to understand how to use these networks. That’s where your buddy and mentor can really help.
Networking starts from the moment you do. Your induction, for example, is there to help you meet people within your area and across the business, at a graduate and managerial level. Ultimately people here want you to do well and will take an interest in you.
